Landscape as a cosmology of the self

"Everything I do in art emerges from living and is founded on the idea of exploring and learning from reality. All the experiences fueled the matrix of creation in some way. I found in this connection the most important tool to guide me. My work is an act of continuous sedimentation, layers apon layers. Contrary to what seems obvious, to add, may be a metaphor for a latent archeology in which one seeks more and more deeply the meaning of things. In an inverted order, the depth ultimately results from the circumstance of adding. One can theorize about the method and make more or less clear the way the work comes up but what is more difficult is to explain the imponderables of the act of creating. The starting point lies in what I see around me, a concept is formed and I use it as a reference that allows the margin of improvisation and the freedom I need to balance my action between reason and emotion."
